The Live Wire Account gives you convenient access to your accounts through electronic means. But, should you have a situation arise where you need access to a paper check, you have up to 5 free money orders and/or cashier’s checks per month available to you as part of the benefits of this account.

 

Requirements:

 

You must be a credit union member.

Cashier’s checks may be purchased in person or requested via home banking

Money Orders must be purchased in person

Money Orders and Cashier’s checks may be paid for with cash, check, or share withdrawal.

Your money is safe! Money orders and cashier’s checks may only be cashed by the member or the party the check is made out to. Both are widely accepted, so they may be used anywhere as a form of payment and you don’t have to worry about your funds being denied, refusal of payment or carrying cash.

Cashier’s checks are many times substituted for member’s funds which thereby enhances the collectibility of the funds by converting them to a cashier’s check.
