As you get older, you'll want to check out a checking account. Your needs have changed - now you're earning and spending your own money. You're on the move, and you want your money to move with you. You also want to show others that you're responsible with your finances. A checking account is the way to do that.
Generationz members aged 15-17 can open this account, which lets them withdraw money by writing a check, using a home banking system, or even a VISA debit card, In your checkbook there's a special place to keep track of the checks you write and other withdrawals you make, so you always know how much money you have left.
Your parent or guardian must co-sign on this account and it must have overdraft protection. There are no minimum balances, no fees per each check you write, and no monthly statement fees. You're good to go, and your money goes with you.
